Umbra Studio is a design-focused furniture and home goods brand that celebrates the artistry and craftsmanship of natural materials. Founder Wamaitha Kinyua’s journey led her to establish this studio, to create pieces that bring depth, character, and a connection to nature into people’s living and working spaces.
Umbra Studio’s visual identity features a concentric circle icon (Tree Rings), symbolizing the layered complexity and depth of the studio’s designs. The warm brown, teal, and cream colour palette evoke a sense of sophistication and connection to nature.
The custom script-style typography has a handcrafted quality, complementing the organic shapes and textures throughout the branding. This visual language conveys Umbra Studio’s commitment to artistry, sustainability, and an elevated living experience.
